This is the first of a series of very ambitious works I made. I hope I can finish them before I start hating them too much and loose my precious time in some other nonsense. If you like it and you tell me, it will help. If you see mistakes and forgive them, thinking that I’m just a stupid human, who I am, then it will help too. Don’t ask for perfection, I will try to as hard as I can to be but same time I’m sure I won’t. We monkeys with clothes work just like that, paradoxes and all that fucking shit.

Wink Let’s rock.

A complete history of videogames related to John Milius’ Conan movie

I include the movie posters as a reference of the film that is being showed that year, with the consequent possible relation. But I haven’t included games that are related to other movies than to Milius’ Conan. This article is focused only in that film and if there’s a relation with any other movie it’s because first of all it is to Milius’.

1. Conan (hall of Volta)

The cover was “The Destroyer”. Yes it’s not the Milius movie but Destroyer has enough links to be related to. Had (1) the governator (2) holding the atlantean sword, (3) wearing the gladiator crown and (4) wheel of pain pendant version in gold. The (5) logo also featured the father’s sword. A screen had Arnold too, and title screen had the logo with the cimmerian weapon.

Heh. It wasn’t going to be a Conan game, as the original designers planned to make a boomerang throwing game called “Visigoth”. So they changed the boomerangs for boomerang swords. Clever or what. :)

The game is as funny as the graphic looks. The music is so enjoying as the graphic looks. My opinion of this thing is “as the graphic looks”.

Don’t succumb to lassitude.

*damn those games were terrible back then for the most part, least "Golden Axe" was cool though and still holds pretty well.

It was common in those days to ripoff movies:

1. Highlander

There are not concrete Milius’ movie relations in this videogame. There is only one far, even though interesting enough, connection.

The character of “The Kurgan” in the movie “Highlander”, was finally played by the actor Clancy Brown, but initially the director Russel Mulcahy thought about Arnold Schwarzenegger. Finally he changed his mind, and following the advice of the singer Sting, Clancy Brown was casted and chosen.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Kurgantourgw0 A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB 02ce5ms5

If you compare some scenes of the Highlander movie with the Milius’ “Conan the barbarian”, specially the scenes where The Kurgan is practicing with his sword, making katas, it’s not too hard to realize from which movie the director would have taken the idea of Arnold as the actor who would play the Russian warlord.

The videogame consist in 3 sword fights. Apparently, you can make a lot of cool movements like defend every part of your body, kneeling and attacking, cut at the neck, pricking different vital parts… But the truth is that the character moves like he was underwater. A stupid slow motion fence duel.

The game itself is very bad. The controls are very bad, the graphics are very bad and the music... The game includes a midi version of “A kind of magic” by Queen, but I actually needed more than a couple of seconds until I realized it was that particular song.

1987

1. Barbarian (the ultimate warrior) aka Death Sword

Visually very Milius-like. Snakes, gladiator pits, princess kidnapped by evil sorcerer… But let's list the concrete relations.

(1) There are some swordmanship movements and postures taken from the film. This is a kenjustsu defensive gesture. The game uses it for protecting trunk and neck.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB 09vj6

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Ytyvy7

This is a defensive posture used in game to protect the head from an above cut.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Tgrtzd1

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Allsave0350rx6gb9

Same defense from "The Destroyer". (Remember Kiyoshi Yamazaki was the swordfight master for both movies, so the fencing style is essentially the same one).

(They are real japanese fencing gesture for defense).

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Kenjutsukl6

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Parabarbarianvt6

(2) Also there’s the sword kata Conan makes when he’s practicing after the recovering. (“A kata is set series of movements that take the student through a hypothetical encounter. By practicing kata, the student internalizes the correct movements and uses of the sword”). The famous part where he’s spinning the sword. (That wind mill movement will be used in some other games in the future, as I will show you, because I love you).

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Screen001he7bb9

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Amiga20parte2rh5

(3) This is a kendo posture called “HASSO NO KAMAE”, and it’s very typical of Ahnuld as cimmerian. It’s the basic posture of the fighters, also is the characteristic “en garde” pose for “the barbarian” in the covers of the videogame.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Conan1tc7

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB 107734072400od6gv1

It’s a waiting gesture, inviting the opponent to attack first. The intention of this guard postion (kamae) is cutting the shoulder or neck of your opponent.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Hassowakiyr5

It’s common in of a lot of barbarians pictured after the Milius' movie. Those two movies, for example, wich are about another barbarians casted by Arnold Schwarzenegger but who are not the original Conan at all. Anyway, the kendo fighting style is the same in both movies and that's what is important.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Post1061931168706596eq0

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Arnold23ru5

(4) This is another “Hasso no Kamae” posture. Notice the sword in this picture is a modified version of the Atlantean, with the same langets running down the blade from the hilt, creating a ricasso, a place where the blade could safely be grabbed to maneuver in close quarter fighting.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB 118421570500bi7fc9 A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB 05pa4

(5) The blonde Viking is Michael Van Wijk who appeared in the tv program “Gladiators”. Besides the HASSO NO KAMAE posture (so poorly executed), what is important about this cover are the flames in the background, and even some vultures, making it look like a poster of something I can’t remember.

There we have more vultures.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Rbarbarianspectrumhn0jezr1

(6) One can't help but remind the alternate movie poster for the Milius' film. Notice the similarities specially the left wristband and also the same primitive fangs or claws necklace. The computer screen also has a vulture.

Being more specific and even no doubt the model is imitating Schwarzenegger as a protocelt it actually comes from "The Destroyer" movie. But even though it’s not the same character (although having the same name), Arnold as an Iron Age warrior will always be directly inspired by the Milius’ movie first than anything. See the similar boots and specially the paleolithic bones? claws? fangs? necklace and headband.

[8] The music is a version of “Anvil of Crom”. Music is composed by Joseph Richard, who says in an interview “Conan” and “Red Sonja” influences were Steve Brown's (designer of the game) idea, and "it was hard to get the Commodore 64 sounding like a Conan movie!". Richard Joseph, like Basil recently passed away. His music for “barbarian” has been remixed to classical-orchestra versions.

http://www.conancompletist.com/dwl/matthias_sacha.mp3

The sounds are also really cinematic. Metal-on-metal sound effects and other several sound samples which were used in the game were taken directly from the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Brigitte Nielsen movie “Red Sonja”. (Wikipedia)

Because of the final decapitations, this game was used by scared-to-see-my-babyboy-growing-up-and-feeling-unimportant-and-alone mothers and their bored-to-the-bones-so-let’s-do-whatever priest friends as a symbol of violence in videogames, years before Mortal Kombat.

No one complains when those same mothers takes their children to church to listen the speech of those same priests standing under a GIANT CRUCIFIED BLOODING CORPSE.

The princess Marina or Mariana, depending on the version - funny names for a so “virginal looking” woman – is called Maria Whittaker. If you want to see her intelligence and internal beauty, kill yourself. If by change you want to see her pubical hair just make a google search. She was an “Interviú girl”, a Spanish version of Playboy magazine.

I think it was a nice game, now old and boring alter 5 minutes, but with the same savage punk violence that Mortal Kombat had, years later. That pagan spirit and tons of women talking shit about the cover, saying it was sex discrimination, made this game successful.

Sex discrimination is paying to the Whittaker less money than to the Van Wijk guy. Not showing her half naked. Women who feel bad because they don’t have that body should learn to name things correctly. But it’s easier to blame and hold “the good old morals” as a shield to not see our own deficiencies.

2. Rastan aka Rastan saga

We all knew who this Rastan dude really was. The first time I saw "Conan the barbarian" on tv (I was about 8 old) I gave all my money to this machine. It was obviously based on the movie, any child could see that at first look.

I remember a sunday evening… That night they were going to show “Conan” on television, first time in Spain ever, boys. I remember being very excited about the images I saw on the tv spot, but obviously I really didn’t know what to expect –and that was the best part of it, the ancient Mystery that movie put on me, even before I saw it.

My father took me to the arcades, to a special one with new and amazing machines. I was playing Rastan as a prelude of what would happen that night. My father saw me playing and said “Hey, that’s the one from tonight’s movie!”. I said “Yeah!”.

I don’t remember any more. I just know that I forgot the movie until other things like “Ator” came, and my mother bought me a “Conan” comic thinking it was a “Thor” comic. She said “Boy I bought you a comic from the man of that movie, Thor”. She meant Ator, but, hey, it was the “Tower of the Elephant” adaptation. Sometimes, mothers build miracles from mistakes. But the movie was always there, waiting for me to rediscover. It was a real trip to an age not undreamed of, but really dreamed. Really dreamed. Yeah I know you are not here to read cheap literature.

Back to work!

(4) Rastan uses this swordmanship pose wich is identical as the other cimmerians clones in "Golden Axe" and in some other games I will go listing as the timeline goes by, as Conan uses that charasteristic "en garde" pose in the Milius' movie.

It's too a kenjutsu characteristic position and it’s called “HASSO NO KAMAE” or “IN NO KAMAE”.

The sword held in front of the left shoulder. In this position you can hit 8 different parts of the opponent.

The name of this position means "Wood". As a great tree raising to the sky, the warrior assume a magnifiic and worthy position to overcome the opponent. It lets the warrior watch the opponent and change to an attack posture as an asnwer to any frontal movement of the opponent.

“This is a posture in which you face the enemy squarely and suppress him with your spirit. You overpower his mind and control his movement so that he has no opportunity to attack you. The first gap in his mental awareness and physical defense is seized upon. The essence of this posture is to cut down with your whole mind, spirit and body.”

Subotai and Valeria uses it too.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Subotai1gv4

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Rast0032qx2

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB 56wd7

(6) The origin of Rastan’s sword is not known, but some say it is an ancient one, once used by nonetheless than an Atlantean King.

In sabers, and less often, in other swords, the Langets are extensions of the cross guard going symmetrically from its center into the grip and over the shoulder of the blade, on both faces of the blade. In most cases, there is a small space between the blade and langets, which tightly fit the locket of the mouth of the scabbard, thus preventing an accidental unsheathing. There is a possibility that strong langets were also used by experienced swordsmen to stop and catch an opponent's blade at a sliding lateral strike.

In both Rastan and Conan swords, the langets run down the blade from the hilt. Tthese would act as a ricasso, or a place you could safely grab the blade to maneuver in close quarter fighting.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB 45532419nl5 A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Vfg21io3

Ricasso refers to an unsharpened area at the root of the blade immediately adjacent to the guard and forming a transition between the sharpened portion of the blade and the tang. One purpose of the ricasso was to allow a user to curl a finger over a quillion, allowing for better point control. Often times, longer swords would have an extended ricasso, allowing the gripping of an entire hand onto the blade past the cross guard for more leverage. While late medieval blades, particularly those formed by stock removal (grinding), may have a short ricasso, ricassos are usually a feature of Renaissance and later blades, and should raise suspicions in the context of an earlier blade style. The area of the ricasso is likely slightly thicker than the sharpened part of the blade and may be of the same width or narrower or wider. Fullers usually do not extend into the ricasso. Maker's marks may frequently be found on the ricasso -in the case of the atlantean weapon, there were the runes.

Right.

Some cover art. They all includes the “Conan” title design. The first one even includes a sword under the “Rastan” name.

Giant stone stone statues can be seen in the background. Even the statues are very closely related to the Argonath we could see in “The Lord of the Rings – The Fellowship of the Ring”, obviously we must remember we are in 1987 and the Jackson’s movie is not even dreamed of. The truth is that the statues in the game are the ones from the painting “The Pillars of the Kings”, by the brothers Hildebrant, made in 1978.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Argonsq2

“The Argonath is a monument comprising two enormous pillars, carved in the likenesses of Isildur and Anárion, standing upon either side of the River Anduin at the northern approach to Nen Hithoel. It was originally constructed about T. A. 1240 at the order of Rómendacil II to mark the northern border of Gondor, although the realm was greatly diminished in size by the time the Fellowship of the Ring passed the Argonath on February 25, 3019. Each of the two figures was shown wearing a crown and a helm, with an axe in its right hand and its left hand raised in a gesture of defiance to the enemies of Gondor”.

There were also some giant stone statues in “The Destroyer”.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Ctd01az2bw3

In the “Horn of Azoth” graphic novel, which originally was supposed to be the original script Roy Thomas had wrote for “The Destroyer”, we got an explanation of the origin of those statues:

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB 4marvelgraphicnovel56p1fm7

In the Roy Thomas script it is said “in the timeless age before man first crawled from the slime, Gods stalked the Earth, and like the men who would follow them, the Gods made War”.

That legend is closely related to the one the father of Conan tells the boy in the Cimmerian mountains, after having finished the sword. It’s interesting to find how Conan, now a mature man, doesn’t believe in tales of Gods and Giants anymore, as a symbol of his lost innocence. (That and no more than two or three more details could be the only deep lights of the Roy Thomas script, too comic-action and teenage minded in its majority compared with the much more mature and better virtues of the Millius’ one).

The Valkyries (Old Norse Valkyrja "Choosers of the Slain") are dísir, minor female deities, warrior women who served Odin. The Valkyries' purpose was to choose the most heroic of those who had died in battle and to carry them off to Valhalla where they became einherjar. This was necessary because Odin needed warriors to fight at his side at the preordained battle at the end of the world, Ragnarök. In Valhalla the Valkyries also “serve drink and look after the tableware and drinking vessels”.

She saw valkyries

Neanderthals were quite advanced and ahead of Cromagnons(modern man) to some extent.

The Nazi's werent the first ones to start with hyper-Aryan Nordic myths, it was a movement coming outve the late 19th century, when Anglo-British writers started claiming other cultures and peoples not their own and superiotioty over others, including so-called Celts. Later on some Germans got in on this and they along with the british, started trying to take credit for Western Civilization, mostly culture vulturing on Southern Europeans cultures and civilizations, like Rome and Greece. Anytime, they found a blond depicted in Ancient Italy or Ancient Greece, it was evidence of Northern European Germanic influence, while black hair was a sign of inferior races, and racial mixing. It can be traced back the British Imperials while stationed in India, when they placed themselves as the highest caste.

The only real "Aryans", were the Iranians(Persians), when King Darius was the first to used that very title.

The taking credit for Atlanteans and placing them in the Atlantic was also very popular for many centuries. Ignathius Donnelly wrote a book on Atlantis being the mother culture for Europeans, North Africans and Asians, called, "Atlantis the Antediluvian World". Its a very inspirationial book.

However, the real Pillars of Hercules were originally located at the Strait of Sicily, then moved to Gibraltar in Alexander the Great's time. So the original location of Atlantis as first mentionend by Plato, wouldve been the Islands of, Sicily, Malta, Corsica and Sardinia. The bulk of Greek mythology takes place on those islands as well as Asia Minor and the Balkans.

Howard, while he played with popular Indo-Aryanism, he wasnt into the complete Nordic worshipping and complete Racism, which his friend Lovecraft dabbled in more so, up until he married a Jewish woman. Howard was more of Celtophile, who liked inserting Irish prize fighters as semi-legendary Celtic heroes, whenever possible as his victorious characters.

Howard's Conan was a dark skinned, blue eyed and black haired brute, while the Nordic was a yellow haired, pale-skilled, blue-grey eyed and graceful .

The mythology Howard 'invented", was plucked from Greece , Rome, Sumeria and Egypt. Howard placed his Conan character(essentially a Medieval Irishman as a Gallo-Roman) into a Mediterranean Bronze Age and Greco-Roman inspired Classical world complete with Babylonian, Sumerian and Egytian oriental influences and combined with the Middle Ages, the Vikings, Mongols, Turks, and Saracen-Arabs and even the Aztecs.

His Kull character was more nuetral, and was partially the basis for Conan the Cimmerian, however his other main basis for Conan, was Conn, from "The Grey God Passes"(can be found in the book Marches of Valhalla). This character is really the mold of Conan, the proto-Conan. Conn was a Celtic slave of the Vikings, who rose up to defeat them and their god Odin by driving them outve Ireland and back across the sea. Can see Howard writing for himself and just writing for an audience.

Kull's Picts were also regular Picts from Historical Britain, and were to him noble, but changed them for Conan's Picts, as they are American Indian savages.

I like reading the Pulps which Howard was a good pulp writer, but I'd much rather read real Greek and Roman mythology and European/Ancient World History. Wink

As I made some concrete references of those two movies ("Jason" and "Highlander") in the articles, I wanted to include them in the chronology to better understand the influences.

When was that movie released? And so, when was that videogame with references released?

I included the references of those both movies because there was a connection with the Milius' movie, which is the main reason of this work.

First, the Jason's skeletors -on Rastan. (I find a connection with Harryhausen skeletors and the idea of Milius of "not doing that").

Second, the Kurgan from "Highlander" was inspired by Schwarzenegger's Conan, as I explain in an article that I haven't included in this post because being a work in progress is being prepared in another place. I will post all that when it's finished for you pleasure (I hope) Wink

I allways make a reference to other movie if first of all there's a connection with Milius' Conan. That's the reason I also included "The Destroyer" and "Sonja". There was some references to "Destroyer" and "Sonja" alone in these videogames but I haven't mention them because there was no connection with Milius'.

Razz I hope it is clear now.

Animated human skeletons have personified Death in western culture since the Middle Ages, like in the Pieter Bruegel’s painting “The Triumph of Death”, from 1562 wich featured an army of human skeletons slaughtering persons.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Bruegheldeathdetailtc4

Skeleton warriors are a common fictional monster archetype common in western fantasy culture. They consist of animated human skeletons with human weapons and armor such as swords and shields. They might be given 'life' by a more powerful undead or necromancer. When raised by another, skeletons are a mindless set of animated bones, brutal and virtually immune to a piercing attack that would only harm the flesh they lack. Because they are already dead, they can be very difficult to kill. If they get smashed to pieces, often they can simply re-assemble. In many stories, legions of undead skeletons are raised as perfectly obedient and expendable foot-soldiers or guards. Unlike their lesser kin, skeleton warriors retain all of their fighting skill and are highly resistant. Because they are difficult to command, are rarelly found in groups greater than two or three.

Perhaps the most famous appearance of skeleton warriors was the stop motion sequence in the 1963 film “Jason and the Argonauts”. The fact that the skeleton warriors from Rastan are called in the manual “Spartoy”, and are depicted using an ancient greek soldier uniform makes clear that the game was also influenced by this movie (it’s interesting to notice that a lot of other Rastan’s monsters like the Hydra, also appear in “The Argonauts” and in some other movies with Harryhausen creations like “Fury of the Titans”).

It is known that John Milius wanted to prevent at all costs that one compares his CONAN with a new HERCULES or SINBAD. That’s the most probable reason why he avoided to animate the skeleton from the Atlantean Tomb, as he would have needed optical effects of stop-motion animation as Ray Harryhausen used for the movie of Jason, as he also did for “Seventh Voyage of Sinbad” where another skeleton warrior appeared. John Milius by change, wanted a realistic historical world, where sorcery was natural and part of the culture, adding a surrealistic mood to the story better than a fantasy movie where anything can happen and works worse in narrative and credibility ways. The movie of Millius has a more mature atmosphere compared with those greek mythology movies, more children oriented. (Besides that, those movies where true pieces of art).

The Chimera was "a thing of immortal make, not human, lion-fronted and snake behind, a goat in the middle, and snorting out the breath of the terrible flame of bright fire". Another description: "Chimaera breathed raging fire, a creature fearful, great, swift-footed and strong, who had three heads, one of a grim-eyed lion; in her hinderpart, a dragon; and in her middle, a goat, breathing forth a fearful blast of blazing fire”. Although some myths tell us that it was the serphant or either the third head which in some discriptions is a dragon would breath a most dreadful blaze of fire.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Imagezt9

The king of Caria, Amisodares raised the Chimera until he lost the control over her. She lived in Patara but moved where she really wanted to. She used to burn the plantations and devour the cattle, so Iobates, king of Lycia, asked the hero Bellerophon to kill her. “He shot the Chimera from the air, safe from her heads and breath, since Pegasus could fly; then he finished her off putting a lump of lead on his spear that melted when exposed to Chimera's fiery breath and consequently killed it, an image drawn from metalworking”. Perhaps there’s some hidden esotheric simbology between the victory of this monster by the hand and the will of Bellerophon and some “Riddle of Bronze”. Remember that bronze, as steel, is an alloy (of copper and tin) wich recipe in that prehistoric time would have been a desired secret for any man searching for strength and power. Destroying the monster, the residual mineral, emerges the purified metal. As in the “Riddle of Steel” it talks about the warrior’s soul becoming bronze, after defeating his enemy.

The mountains of Cimmeria were filmed in Spain, either "a mountain range just beyond Madrid" or the "Northern Spain's impressive Picos de Europa mountain chain". If they are the mountains near Madrid then they are called "La sierra" or "La Pedriza". If the sky is clear enough I can watch them from the roof of my building. If they are the "Picos de Europa" then they are in Asturias, in the north of the country. These mountains are far more impressive and high, than the ones from Madrid.

This giant viking-like warrior is called ARYOUS.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Savageswordofconan14106zv1

The "Aryan race" is a concept in European culture that was influential in the period of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. In its best-known incarnation, under Nazism, it was argued that the earliest Aryans were identical to Nordic people.

The idea of an aryan race came when linguists identified the avestic and sanskrit as the older known ancestors of the main europena languajes includin latin, greek and all the germanic and celtic languaje. They believed that the speakers of those languajes origined in an ancient culture which must have been the ancestor of all the european cultures. To those hypothethical ancestors they gave the name of aryan, taking the sanskrit and avestic word “arya” wich means “noble” or “spiritual”, “reborn after death”. From this point of view “aryan” means “white european”, excluding the population of jewish or arabic origin because their respective languajes doesn’t belong to the indoeuropean family.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Teconanthebarbarianmovixg5

Some german thinkers believed the aryan where originated in the ancient Germany or Scandinavian or at least those where the countries where the original ethnic group was conserved. It was a popular belief that the Vedic aryan (Veddas) where ethnically similar to goths, vandals and other ancient germanic cultures from the Völkerwanderung (Migration of Nations). This idea was often related with anti-Semitic beliefs.

The theosophy was an occultist movement funded at the end of the nineteenth century. They believe the Aryan are a chosen race to watch the development of the humanity in the earth, guiding them and therefore being the top in the human evolution scale.

The theosophers believed the aryan where the descendants of the Atlanteans. Old myths talked about a war wich asoled the Atlantis people, a fight between good and evil, those who practised white magic against the black magic. After the sea cataclism, the atlantean where divided between those who followed the right way, the good one, (who came to a zone called Shambala) and those who funded Agharthis or path of the left and belonged to darkness.

The atlanteans became aryan in the Asian steppes, and from them they emigrated to Eurpe around 1800 BC, and to Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan and to some zones from the north of India. It was believed the aryan came as conquerors, replacing previous cultures. They could conqueror a so vast territory thanks to their nomadic way of life, the use of the horse and wheel vehicles like military chariots. This model of cultural substitution was widely accepted in the past, but actually it’s a very neglected theory. There are no proofs of generalized wars or cultural substitution.

A complete history of videogames related to Millius CTB Savageswordofconan01737uc8

Those atlanteans where described as giants. (Remember the 10 feet tall atlantean skeleton Conan founded in the tomb). Considered superhuman, the Third Raich travelled to the Tibet trying to find specimens of the race who could have survived, in order to create an invincible army or superhuman warriors and purify Germany with it–that is, assassin any person without pure Aryan genetical values… and steal their money.

Even though racial ideas were quite popular and where considered scientific facts in the years Bob Ervin Howard wrotte that text, the very same notion of race regarding the human species has no taxonomic vality, so concepts like “aryan race” today are obsolete. Of course there’s allways some people who likes to believe in Santa Claus, just make a search through the world wide web and you will find a lot of precious blogs of ignorant people who need to believe they are superior because if they awake into the real world they would probably commite suicide. (So let’s pray for their awakening, some day.) But it’s better to be a happy controlled “head like a hole” than an empty awakened Orphan of Doom, right, assholes? Well, I hope noone of those child minded psychos read this ever. If any of them do, I’d like them to know that I hate their mothers, and that I challenge any of them to a nabocho fight at any time.
