BTW, Donald F. Glut also was the writter of the first minicomis that came with the first "Masters of the Universe" figures in 1981. He was the one who conveived He-Man as a barbarian (forget about the Prince Adam stuff from the later cartoon).

Stout made the designs for the aliens in the 1986 so-so remake "INVADERS FROM MARS" directed by Tobe "Chainsaw" Hooper. The Alien boss was this piece of shit:




And then the evil Alien boss from the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" cartoon of 1987:

Although the brain alien does resemble the Predator upper cranium, even has that ring like thing thats extends from the browridges all the way around the head.

Designed 12 "Factasaurus" bumpers for the "DINK THE LITTLE DINOSAUR" Saturday morning animated series; also painted background and titles.



That "DINK" series was a total rip-off of "THE LAND BEFORE TIME" movie which by the way was hugely inspired on Stout.

That "Land before..." spawned a series of vomitive and never ending sequels of amazing success thinking they were so extremely bad it gave cancer to a whole generation.

The later Disney movie "DINOSAUR" was also a total rip off of "THE LAND BEFORE TIME".

And Stout also worked on that Disney one.

Stout start collecting E.C. comics ("Tales from the Crypt" and so) in 1968. All that artwork surely influenced him hugely and that can be seen in his work in the funny "RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD" movie.

To Stout's upset, his script was heavily modified and turned into that very bad Kurosawa's "Yojimbo" knockoff, retitled "THE WARRIOR AND THE SORECERESS". And guess what. There was NO sorceress in the whole story.

In the poster he was transformed into a Schwarzenegger-like ultra-muscled warrior, then in the movie he was allways dressed with that black coat to not show he wasn't the same guy than in the Conan knocking-off poster.
