Quelqu'un s'y connait en statuettes Conan? Parce que j'aimerais bien m'en (faire) acheter une pour mon anniversaire de dans 2 mois.... Mais je n'y connais pas grand chose et je m'y perds un peu entre tous ces action figures, garage kit et autre resin jes�plukoi... Y a t-il un sp�cialiste dans la salle qui pourrait m'orienter vers un truc pas trop vilain et pas excessivement cher?

Film centr� sur le sorcier immortel Thulsa Doom, un des personnages centraux du comic book Conan Le Barbare. L'histoire remonte aux origines du personnage et montre comment son p�riple vers l'enfer a �t� jonch� de bonnes intentions. (sources allocin�)

L'acteur Djimon Hounsou, r�cemment vu dans "Blood Diamond", va interpr�ter le sorcier immortel Thulsa Doom dans un film centr� sur ce personnage issu des comic-books de "Conan Le Barbare" et "Kull".

Ahora mismo recuerdo dos, pero seguro que hay muchos m�s.

Uno de los m�s gordos ocurre cuando Valeria, Conan y Subotai se encuentran por primera vez en los jardines de la Torre de Set. El di�logo traducido es este:

-Conan (a Valeria): No eres una Diosa.

-Valeria (a Conan): Ni tu un Dios.

Vale, pues esto es una mierda gord�sima. En realidad lo que dicen en el original es esto, que tiene mucho m�s sentido -los traductores seguramente se rayaron con el misticismo de Milius y ...

He encontrado este art�culo en una vieja revista espa�ola, en la edici�n de "Conan the savage" que aqu� se llam� si no recuerdo mal "Espada salvaje de Conan Vol.2".

No habla sobre la peli, pero si sobre el concepto "barbarie vs civilizaci�n" y del posible simbolismo que pueden tener los conceptos howardianos relacionados con su �poca, la Gran Depresi�n. Creo que encaja bien, el texano cabreado y con ganas ...

Rose McGowan, RR's current main squeeze, is set to play the lead role. I'm glad Milius decided not to animate the Atlantean king Conan took the sword from. He's right: it would have been cheesy. What was cool about the scene was when the corpse shifted after Conan took the sword. You thought at first it was going to come to life, but instead it seemed to bow its head as if to say "death has vanquished me. Therefore you must now take my sword, and wield it while you live".

The fact is, these sketches look too unreal, as the look of Conan in the 30's was NOT this Frazetta-like
