Conan Outfit pictures?

Hello I am new to the forums and I am a huge fan of Conan The barbarian but not that huge to posses stuff apart from the new blue ray disk that I love and I found very much filled with content ....


I was about to make some work on 3d for an outfit for conan the barbarian from the original movies with Shwartzy...

Does any of you know where I can find good and big pictures of his outfits ? Especially the seminaked one with the fur slips and leather circlet :) ....

I assume you are asking for "CONAN THE BARBARIAN" pics? -- Cause he also wears that crown on "Conan the Destroyer", but these pics are pretty easy to find, so....

Sadly he is sat and it's hard to see the lower clothes, but you can assume either leather pants, or a loincloth similar to what he wears later.

Be sure to check these to figure out the lower clothes, since the scenes where he is wearing that "crown" you mention he is being a gladiator. Therefore, he could wear some similar to these:

Thankyou very much , I am basing the circlet on the Destroyer as well , ,ostly the outfit I am making is the classical outfit fur slips circled and the fur boots and armguards... eventually even the amulet ....

In such case, writting "conan destroyer" on google images will bring you tons of helpful pics. As an example:

Do you have any pictures of the Belt that Conan uses when using the warpaint?

That's a tough one cause he wears TWO belts on that scene.

He wears pants, and over these he wears a loincloth, and to hold that loincloth he wears A BELT (first one). (it's an elaborated, geometric decorated, black-leather big one)

But over that first belt, he also wears A SECOND ONE -a simple crude brown-leather belt- wich is the one wich holds the scabbard. (If you remember, he first wears the scabbard on the back, ala ninja, then he changes it to his waist. So that's the moment when he covers his first belt with the second.

So the first belt is quite hard to spot, as you see: in this pic the second belt is covering the first one

Another helpful thing is taking a look at the Sideshow and Neca statues, wich are actually based off the movie designs. In the Sideshow one we can spot the FIRST BELT wich holds the loincloth -though you might appreciate is pretty different than the one in the movie as seen in the previous pic but anyway,it might help you to figure out what the movie pic doesn't show:

Meanwhile the NECA statue doesn't show the first belt, BUT THE SECOND ONE -the one wich holds the scabbard-:

Ok I would go only for the decorated one wich seems the one under the sword's belt , since the sword ingame have their own scabbar / belt thing ...

but the statue models that i saw too around do not portray the decorations on the belt wich seem to have some romboid patterns and eventually some metal studded parts , not sure , I guess I will have to make a guess out or there are any other good original pictures? I spotted the decorations first in that picture of Schwartzenegger with the director etc ...

Another interesting thing:

The belt from the Sideshow statue can be seen on the scenes where Conan wears the Battle of the Mounds pants (including the very end, Doom's beheading)

Ok thanks , seems there are no studded parts there ... but a couple of scratches in the front , on the left side a secondary belt strip inserted in the same belt ...

I guess the best way tomake it is just if I do make a normal plain leather belt over black furs ....
