Schwarzenegger as "Attila the hun"

I've bee looking for info about this, but haven't found anything.

It was a rumor that I read years ago, in a conan comic article (like 15 years ago). It said that some director was thinking about Arnold as the actor who would play ATTILA in a biopic he was going to make.

Of course it was never filmed but now I wonder who that director could have been and if that project could have even started. It could have been also just bullshit from the guy who wrotte that article.

Some years later there was another rumour about Arnold in a Crusades movie of paul Verhoeven. But there's plenty info about that one in the web.

Apparently, beyond that black and white comic scene of "Hamlet" in the "Last action hero", the austrian dude didn't hold a sword in a movie since "Sonja". Right?

Do you know something about that Attila shit?

Well he probably couldnt of done any worse than Gerard Butler or Anthony Quinn or even John Wayne as Ghengis Khan.

Turd, that cleaver in the statue..looks something like what was used by those pig faced mutant butchers in the Kitchen from the movie "Legend". That scene looked taken from CONAN for sure.

What is not for sure is a true historical weapon


It was so long I read it that I can't remeber any other info so I could be more specific. It was wrotte by the guy who answered the mail in the spanish version of "the savage sword", Mariano Ayuso. The man was heavily cultivated so I doubt the romour was just bullshit. But I don't know. As I said i've been looking for info in the web but there's nothing about it.

It was probably a idea that didn't become anything but an idea. I don't know.
