| Glad you like the pictures - that's Chepstow Castle in Wales, on a (rare) snowy day in Feb 2009. The robin is spontaneous, but is obviously aware of the importance of the occasion. | |

| Great, I live in Madrid, this winter also has been rare here cuz it snowed too, didn't for 6 or 7 years. Is that true, the robin came there and posed for you? C'mon | |

| Hi I am a new member here and would just like to share info. I have about the Marto Conan Atlantean sword. I recently purchased one through E-bay. The handle is hollow but all the handle, crossguard and langettes are of one piece and feel solid. I would not describe this as battle ready and to be honest weighs too much for swinging about anyway! A couple of interesting notes- I purchased one at a film fair previously and had to send it back because the runes were out of alighnment down the blade. This was due to a faulty batch aparently and I got a full refund because all the stock had to be sent back to Spain. My new purchase came from a dealer in the States (I live in the U.K.) and when I recieved it noticed that the pommel is slightly twisted to one side. When it hangs on my wall it is noticeable and makes the handle look bent- but not if I turn it around! Also the bronze finish is very dark as opposed to the 'polished' sheen in the movie(s). My certificate did not come signed and with no serial number(?!) It is an impressive piece granted but for the price and the extra charge I had to get it through customs diluted my enthusiasm somewhat. I checked out e-bay again and see that the dealer who sold mine has bumped his price up considerabley. Apparently Marto are discontinuing there Conan and Highlander merchandise! There will be no more according to his listing. Ever.... | |

| I noticed that Marto stopped producing the Conan swords and now Museum Replicas lists 1085 high carbon steel tempered to 52 HRC Conan swords slated for October release. And Museum Replicas have a price of $295.00 for the fathers sword or the Atlantean and $195.00 for Valeria's sword. | |

| The marto sword looks pretty good. They'll likely discontinue it for a short while then re-release it again when the demand goes up. Or after momoa does his magnum opus of the second movie hahaha.
I tried getting stuff from museum replicas a while ago (the assassins creed altair costume/swords) they wouldn't even reply to my emails. Apparently they aren't happy dealing with the UK (I'm in Scotland). You can get most of the marto stuff including the atlantean and fathers swords through battle orders here. it's possible that battle orders will stock the windlass steelcraft weapons at some point which whilst maybe raising the cost a little obviates the hassle with the UK's draconian import laws and extortionate prices. | |
