Anybody watched:
"Game of Thrones" yet ???
I thought the first episode was great...Stars Sean Bean & Lena Headey. I thought the character 'Drogo' looked familiar, ...It's only the 'new Conan' Jason Momoa !!!

Am I the only one who thinks the KING ROBERT character is absolutely JOHN MILIUS? He even ha some awesome Miliuesque quotes: "Killing things clears my mind".
And a very interesting video I found:

I haven't seen the series, but I've read the books, (Dance with Dragons is up next). They can be a hard read at times. Not so much in complexity, but it's a very dark story where you learn quick not to get attached to any of the characters. The main body of persons in the story are reprehensible, so few redeeming qualities it can make your head spin!

Started off like low grade softcore porn but it got better. Not a bad show, although many of these shows are using sex to lore in viewers too much.

Then, don't watch Spartacus : Blood and Sand (and the prequel), it's almost porn...

Nice video, thanks for posting. I enjoyed the show.
I do like the bit where dunne, mentions he changed the design of the scimitar to have the cutting edge on the outside of the blade, to give a longer slicing action....unlike real world scimitars where the cutting edge is on the outside to give a longer slici...wait....what? Isn't he thinking of some kind of khopesh???
