| In the 2nd Draft, Conan and company flee the tower by excaping through the roof, but just before they reach the top, they come across the "chamber of the spider". Angle - CONAN
Conan and Subotai are almost to the top of the roof, the chamber of the spider, but they are still vulnerable.
Valeria
She must move now, and move she does. One hand grabs the dangling pulley, up across one bowstring, then the other. The strings snap onto the archers eyes, and, swiftly, she is behind the huge axe man, twisting the rope in a loop around his neck in a knot. He grabs at the rope as Yaro thrusts at Valeria with a long dagger. But Valeria is again too quick, too good. She pulls the huge man off balance and whirls him into Yaro's thrust. He chokes out a gagging scream. Valeria pulls and kicks the huge body; it reels over the edge, clawing the air, and begins to plunge into the abyse. Yaro now lunges at Valeria, who dives for the other end of the rope. His blade flashes by her. The rope tightens with the weight of the falling man, and Valeria is hoisted away toward the roof, as Yaro snarls, enraged.
YARO
Kill them! kill them!__________ In the third Draft, the line is altered slightly: " Conan and Subotai are almost to the top of the roof, but they are still vulnerable". So I wonder why Milius chose to delete the Spider's chamber or if such a beast was supposed to be seen at some point. It surely closer to the "Tower of the Elephant". What does survive however is the usage of the Spider symbolism in Osric's chamber, but being that Osric is a puppet king, the chamber more belongs to Yaro, and Osric sits under the giant Spider: In both scripts, the Tower of the Serpent is described much more like this image, than the finished movie version. It was pretty huge, and had a inside stairwell. Theres mention also of Subotai coming across a window before he reaches the roof and the huge moon/moonlight being important to this scene.

Yeah its Ikol, my fault. Its from the movie. Prince Tarn says that to him during the scene at the doorway, right before they fight. You guys dont have that scene?
