| Thanks a lot! Now I now why I liked the Sonja movie, the music was so beautiful, much more than the Poledouris "Destroyer" thing. Without the Morricone score the movie would have been another thing, much more difficult to swallow. | |

| Some of the locations and cinematography I think was excellent for RED SONJA combined with Morricone's score. Vic Armstrong's CTD/SONJA choreography was superior to the CTB's I gotta say without hesitation. I didnt care for Conan being so ridiculous slow and cumbersome in the first Conan film, i think Milius dropped the ball on that as he wanted Conan's movements to be slow motion and a series of poses like ballet or some shit.
CONAN/Kalidor's fighting ability was frighteningly awesome in CTD and SONJA, he was like a wild animal and extemely agile, wiping out like 6 guys in 2 seconds. I think thats partve the reason I like CTD and SONJA too, was watching Arnold's character's fighting ability and good scenes of him actually using his sword than just posing with it.

| Well, it may all be copyrighted material, but no one is producing it anymore...and it's not like you can buy it for a reasonable price anywhere. | |

| yeah, think its the same problem with scripts, especially before the movie is released.
WILLOW seem's inspired from Alexander Nevsky music, namely the battle pieces, and its basically re-used KRULL, great score though.

| At least, Horner is stealing from himself. Unlike Tyler Bates, who stole from Elliott Goldenthal's Titus when doing the score for 300 ! - Quote :
- The score has given rise to some controversy in the film composer community, garnering criticism for its striking similarity to several other recent soundtracks, including James Horner and Gabriel Yared's work for the film Troy. The heaviest borrowings are said to be from Elliot Goldenthal's 1999 score for Titus. "Remember Us," from 300, is identical in parts to the "Finale" from Titus, and "Returns a King" is similar to the cue "Victorius Titus."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/300_movie#Soundtrack Returns A King (Bates) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZLbPObKQaM Victorius Titus (Goldenthal) http://www.lastfm.fr/music/Elliot+Goldenthal/_/Victorius+Titus+(Vocal) (be sure to copy and paste the whole link including the end part of it, otherwise it won't work) And I'm myself totally stealing this info and links from a discussion between Chrysagon and MightyMcT on the French forum !

| John Williams has been getting away with lifting bits and pieces from all over through the years, even his Star Wars theme isnt original. | |

| The Star Wars theme is strangely similar to the march that opens Leni Riefenstahl's movie "Triumph of the Will". Lucas also copied the last condecoration scene from there. | |
