"Conan the barbarian" DEFINITIVE Edition

The other day I saw this new edition of the movie in DVD, called "Definitive Edition". Looked in the back and had the same extras and features... Is there something new, there, or just a silly name?

I read the image quality was improved ...

I just googled it, it appear its the same DVD from 2007.

Speaking of the 2007 version, the dust sleeve on the one that I bought looked as if it had a pocket for a blooklet, but there was no booklet in mine. So is there supposed to be one?

I assume you all are talking about that REgion 2 CtB "Special Edition" DVD release? I've been debating getting it -- I have the Collector's Edition released in the US, but the picture's not all it could be, plus it's in mono (I realize that was how it was originally released...but come on, it's the 21st Century!).

So is the picture on this UK release much better? And it's in 5.1, right?

I'd say the only thing keeping me from it is that it would be PAL rather than NTSC...I don't know how you PAL-watchers can stand that format. Everyone's voice is so sped up, and so is the action -- feel like I'm watching "Benny Hill" or something. And everyone sounds like they've inhaled some helium. Probably not as noticeable if you're only familiar with PAL...but it's very noticeable when you know what the actor's voices really sound like in NTSC.
