I have never been able to sit through the entire commentary. It is too inane.

Every time Sandahl Bergman shows up, Milius goes: "She's a Valkyrie, A VALKYRIE!. Look at her, A VALKYRIE!!!!"

Schwarzenegger just points out things: "Look at me vit da sword, look at her vit da snakes, look at Sven vit da hammah, look at Thulsa Doom vit da helmet"

How does a movie SO FRAUGHT with AWESOME have a commentary SO BAD?

Yeah..fantastic..

I think its safe to state the obvious, that they were both lit up like Christmas tree's. Milius also never released that new Voice Over narration, but managed to hire Mako to re-do the ending..which also still happened to have been a story yet to be told.

This reminds me that I need to bone up on my trivia and background info again so I can record a new commentary myself. I think it's important for people to see this film as we can, and I get slightly tired of rehashing it every time....

Anybody know why Mako wasnt interviewed for CONAN UNCHAINED? Was oddly absent. Was thinking maybe was busy filming "Pearl Harbor" or something but dunno. He was hired to do the new added ending Voice Over

...Don't know, I think CU was released in 2000 and Mako didn't die until 2006. Perhaps he was over seas, unavailable, or suffering from bad health, but, he voiced Samurai Jack's AKU somewhere in that span of time, so he must have been healthy enough for a while.
