Subject: Windlass Steelcraft is working on replica swords. Fri 16 Sep - 20:04
I found info from the Kult of Athena, Windlass Steelcrafts is working on producing replicas of the Atlantean, the Father's sword, and Valeria's sword. Kult of Athena has the big boys listed at $230, Museum Replicas at $300.
Reviews I've found for Windlass says that their work is usually very good, but that they occasionally have laid eggs.

Not impressed with the Windlass, just got it 30 minutes ago and the pommel fell off as i was taking it out of the box. the blade is thinner than the Marto and the rest is less defined than my Chinese copy.

The side view looks pretty bad. loc-tite makes an epoxy that mixes with a gel consistancy. You may be able to use it to secure the pommel.

Ok. So i have had the sword a few days and it is growing on me. I regret buying from Museum replicas as i think the Kult price is a better deal for the quality. I wrapped the handle with duct tape and placed the pommel back on and it is holding nicely. Hopefully mine was a 1 in a million mistake and no one else has this problem. I like that Kult changed their picture to the actual product as i was dissapointed the product i received did not match the Museum Replicas photo. I ordered unsharpened but the edge is real fine so it wont take much to sharpen it. I decided against the epoxy as i will probably take it apart and hopefully replace the handle sooner or later.

My Windlass Atlantean did not happen so I tried removing the pommel could not more, pommel its very strong in my Atlantean, is well established, other detail is also a difference of printing the logo on my atlantean is in the middle, not on the side!

I agree to this Museum Replicas are good at selling quality Larp/Latex weapons. They are into this business from years and know how to to satisfy their customers and we really can't say much about the defected pommel as it may happen during shipping times. Why I am saying this because not particularly the Atlantean sword I have from this website but I have purchased other products which are made up of quality larp materials only. They are good for everything from using it for fighting or for display purpose, they are quite good.
