| First post. Been lurking for a while. Does anyone actually own a Albion Destroyer Atlantean? I don't think I've ever seen one posted before. | |

'Sup clutch? Is this THE clutch, owner of Albion Atlantean #1, #20, & Father/Master sword #1? I've actually never heard anyone say they had the Destroyer version...

| Sorry for that, man. The rules are made to avoid Spamming. For some bizarre reason Robots love this forum As usual I would invite you to register, it's way easier than in many forums and websites. That way you can post as many photos as you wish. Oh and most important, you can add an Avatar to your name so we can easily identify you. That in hoping you wish to come around once in a while for some barbaresque chatting. | |

| Hello Flaming..
I think I am registered. But I guess they want to see if I'm gonna stick around more than 7 days hehe.. Well I've been coming here for a while and read many great threads, and finally became a member. I'd love to talk some Conan and other great movies with you all in the future...
By the way. Something I've noticed...There is no big difference in the Atlantean sword in the two movies. The Albion destroyer's grip is wrapped with leather lace but in the movie it's the same as in the barbarian. Maybe the ricasso is a little bit wider, but the only difference I can see between the two movie swords is that the destroyer is more goldish than bronze... no "hooked" steel langets.

Is that so? Isn't the Destroyer slightly bigger than the barbarian? Or blade any longer?

Yes you are right. The destroyer's hilt and blade are a little longer.

| Thanks for posting those. Looking forward to the new. They are more hooked than the first Atlantean. I always felt they tried to pretty up the Destroyer one. Much like they tried to pretty up Conan by him getting more ripped and wearing less clothing. | |

| Any luck on pics? Also interested in how you displayed it on the wall. I've been trying to think of a good solution. Just afraid they'll fall off and kill someone. lol | |

| Beautiful! Don't you wish they could have done a cleaner job with the numbering? Mine are the same way. This is also the third variation on the numbering I have seen. Yours is on the outside. The sea dogs appear to have lost their nostrils as well. | |

Yes, you're right. They should have done a cleaner job. What other variations have you seen? No haha. The sea dogs still have their nostrils. I had to check. (Photos later on) The reason I bought the Destroyer instead of the Barbarian was that I already had the Marto version of the Barbarian. So my plan was to have all 3 on the wall. Father's and two versions of the Atlantean. But when it came to it..I decided not to put the Marto up with the others. It didn't feel right. Marto is good but it seems misplaced next to the others. You know what I mean? If anyone know a good site where you can sell swords I'll appreciate it. Got to sell off my Marto's. I've realized I have to get an Albion Barbarian now...Shit...

What I meant was. The sword in the movie doesn't have the hooked langets or the leather lace like Albion's Destroyer. It's like the Barbarian's. Only longer on both ends. It has a wider ricasso though. Merry Christmas
