| The picture of the Xenomorph with the Predator dreadlocks, is that a publicity photo for AVP 2? I think that is the Part Alien, Half Predator that was born at the end of AVP 1. |

| It is. I hope AVP 2 is going to be excellent. the 1st ALIEN VS. PREDATOR film 3 years ago was a awesome movie. It would be good if there was a ALIEN 5. |

| I just the trailer of AVP 2. It looks bigger and even more terrifying than AVP 1. I have a feeling AVP 2 is going to have a bigger body count. |

| Nice chronology, Dan, but what's the point exactly? | |

| ALIEN AND PREDATOR are set in the same universe. When i saw ALIEN, i noticed on the computer screen when Dallas was acessing the Nostromo, the year on the screen was 2032, and i begun to think ALIEN VS PREDATOR was a prequel to ALIEN. So i put all the ALIEN and PREDATOR films together and worked out the years they are set. PREDATOR 2 was set in 1997, Keyes tells Harrigan, PREDATOR happened in 1987. ALIEN VS PREDATOR is set in 2004, 7 years after PREDATOR 2. ALIEN is set in 2032 which is 28 years after ALIEN VS. PREDATOR. In ALIENS, Burke tells Ripley she was in suspended animation for 57 years, and i worked out, the year was 2089. I am not sure when ALIEN 3, i assumed it was the same year 2089. ALIEN RESSURECTION is set 200 years after ALIEN 3, that means ALIEN RESSURECTION is set in the year 2289. ''Ellen Ripley died 200 years ago'' ''You were out there for 57 years'' I worked it all out... If you were born in 2032, you wouldn't turn 60-years old until 2092. Still i think it is clever how the Alien franchise and the Predator franchise were put together in ALIEN VS PREDATOR. It proves the two film franchises are both set in the same universe and that is my point. |

| So you just figured it out that Aliens and Predator are in the same universe? | |

| Well Lance Hendriksen was in AVP as Charles Bishop Weyland, the founder of Weyland industries. I do believe the ALIEN and PREDATOR movies are set in the same universe. They are two of the universe's most deadliest species... |

| In PREDATOR 2, when Harrigan finds the trophey room in the Predator spaceship, he finds the skull of a alien queen. That proves it. |

| If the screenwriters of PREDATOR 2 didn't put the Alien Queen's skull in the trophey room scene in the film, then the AVP video games, graphic novels and the two films wouldn't have happened. |

| The Dark Horse comic series predated the Alien skull seen in PREDATOR 2 by a year. | |

| Yeah. The original idea came from Chris Warner who is a comic book artist. And it was like 1 or 2 years before the Predator 2 movie. He made also this comic book mini series, which takes place after the first movie with Arnold, and where the Predators go to New York to hunt. The second movie script was heavily inspired by these comic books.

You should learn that movies are not the only thing in this world, dude. If an idea is taken to the screen, it because it was taken from somewhere else, first.
Chris Warner also did the drawing for this Terminator miniseries, before the T2 movie was made. It was a pretty interesting and well made sequel, but nothing to do with the T2 movie. Here there was like 5 terminators and a whole bunch of human soldiers sent back.

| I also found it interesting, that in 1987 Robocop got staked with the metal rod by Clarence, while the T-800 got the same treatment by the T-1000 in 1991. | |
